Cranberry Township will begin celebration of a traditional Indian holiday later this week.
Deepavali otherwise known as Diwali or The Festival of Lights is a five-day celebration that symbolizes light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil.
The celebration will take place Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center Square and is being hosted by the Cranberry Township Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Advisory.
Activities will include art coloring, interactive Bollywood dancing, and delicious Indian refreshments.
