As local COVID cases rise, so have hospitalizations.
As of Monday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 45 patients for the coronavirus, with eight in the ICU. That’s up 11 people since last Thursday.
One more person has died locally at Butler Memorial Hospital over the weekend as a result of serious COVID-19 symptoms.
Statewide, over 3,100 people are now hospitalized with COVID, which is a jump compared to a couple of weeks ago.
