A couple of regional organizations will receive state grant funding to help Butler County women in recovery from substance use disorder.
The PA Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs will administer $12 million in federal funding to help provide recovery support services after treatment.
Included in this funding is over $583,000 to the Allegheny Health Network and nearly $300,000 to the Center for Community Resources for pregnancy support services.
These organizations will be able to make referrals to address needs of local pregnant and post-partum women with substance use disorder as well as facilitate medication-assisted treatment.
