A feasibility study is set to be conducted in order to look at the possibility of a new athletic complex in Butler County.
The study is being conducted by the Adams Township Training and Community Center, a local nonprofit, that is researching the possibility of a new regional aquatics training center.
The center would be open to all county residents, and offer aquatics training, indoor sports courts, senior programming, and meeting space.
The group is looking at five locations to house the center.
Butler County and the Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau are helping fund the $11,000 study.
County officials say helping fund the study will give the center access to future state and federal funding.
