The Butler County controller will be undertaking a role on a statewide financial board.
Ben Holland was recently nominated to serve as a member of the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy.
The board regulates the practice of certified public accountants in the state, including the regulation of the licensure and certification of CPAs.
Holland will serve a four-year term.
