The county solicitor filling the post on an interim basis will continue to do so for the rest of the year.
The Butler County Commissioners unanimously voted to keep Julie Graham on as county solicitor as they search for permanent replacement.
Graham has been serving in that role since former solicitor Mike English left the post to take another job. She will be paid $9,516 per month.
Commissioner Leslie Osche said the position will be posted soon but it takes months to get through that process and then transition someone into that job.
