College Bowl Games today:
–The First Responders Bowl in Dallas will feature Boston College and Boise State at 1:30pm
–The Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit has Minnesota and Georgia Tech at 5:15pm.
–California and TCU meet in the Cheez-It Bowl in Phoenix at 9pm.
The national college playoff semifinals are this weekend.
–Notre Dame and Clemson will meet in the Cotton Bowl Saturday at 4pm.
–Alabama and Oklahoma meet in the Orange Bowl at 8pm.
The winners meet in the title game Monday, January 7th.
Sad note: Former Shippensburg head football coach Rocky Rees has passed away after a short battle with cancer. He was 69. He led the Red Raiders for 21 seasons from 1990 to 2010, compiling 123 victories.
