Collective Soul is celebrating their 30th anniversary with the release of a double album, Here to Eternity, due May 17th. Frontman Ed Roland said: “As a kid, I determined that rock n’ roll was my life, I dreamed of making a double album, well here you go!”
The band co-produced the 20-song project with Shawn Grove at Elvis Presley’s estate in Palm Springs, California. They are the only other artists to ever record there. The location is a historical landmark where Elvis and Priscilla Presley spent their honeymoon in 1967.
On May 30, Collective Soul will hit the road with Hootie & the Blowfish and Edwin McCain.
