Early Thanksgiving travel could be tough sledding as a batch of wintry weather hits the area starting today.
Strong winds, chilly temperatures, along with a mix of snow and rain could cause difficult conditions for those looking to beat Thanksgiving travel.
It stems from an upper-level disturbance that originated in Canada late last week.
And it could cause havoc to a large number of people who are traveling for Thanksgiving. AAA predicts an estimated 53 million people will either be flying or driving to a destination for the holidays.
