Butler Township is moving forward with a project to resurface the roof of the Public Works Building.
At their meeting Monday night, the Commissioners awarded the project to PA Roofing Systems to install a Tremco Roof coating in the amount of just over $312,000.
A total of four bids were received for this project from companies certified to install Tremco. The current roof is over 25 years old and has needed repairs for several years.
This project is expected to get underway sometime in September and be completed within 60 days.
