Butler Township will consider a zoning change in order to allow a local business to move into a longtime former event facility.
Kenmac Rentals and Sales announced plans last month to relocate to the former Butler Vagabonds in Lyndora.
Since that property and three other adjacent parcels are zoned Residential a change to Commercial zoning is necessary. Butler Township Commissioners have set a public hearing date of December 16th at 7 p.m. in order to consider changing the ordinance for that area.
This change will first be considered by the Township Planning Commission at their meeting in November. Kenmac would like to be operational by March 1st of next year.
