Butler high school runner Drew Griffith was runner-up at the 44th Foot Locker Northeast regional cross country meet in Franklin Park, Massachusetts Saturday. Griffith was just behind Ringgold’s Ryan Pajak who set a course record for the 5,000-meter run in a time of 14:51. Griffith was just three seconds behind. Both move on to the national meet December 9th in San Diego.
