The Butler County Symphony is continuing its 76th season with a performance this weekend at the Butler Intermediate High School.
Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto with Philadelphia Orchestra Concertmaster Dr. David Kim and Shostakovich’s Symphony Number 5 will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Guest conductor Austin Chanu is returning for a pre-concert presentation at 6:30 p.m. followed by his second performance as one of three finalists for the selection of the next Music Director and Conductor. Attendees are asked to provide feedback as part of the selection process.
Reserved seating individual show tickets are available for $30 pre-show for adults or $10 for kids and students on the Symphony’s website. Some tickets may be available at the door and cost slightly more.
