WPIAL Basketball playoffs:
–The Butler boys will host North Hills tonight in the Class 6A First Round. Tip-off is 7pm. Pre-game begins at 6:50pm on WBUT.
–The Knoch girls travel to Laurel Highlands in the Class 4A First Round. Tip-off is 7pm. Hear the game on WISR beginning with the pre-game at 6:45pm.
Also tonight:
–The Seneca Valley boys will host Woodland Hills at 7pm in the Class 6A First Round.
–The Freeport girls will visit Beaver at 7pm in the Class 4A First Round.
The Knoch boys defeated West Mifflin 56-23 Friday night in the Class 4A First Round. Jackson Bauman scored 30 points to lead the Knights into the Class 4A quarterfinals Wednesday night. Knoch will travel to Avonworth. Hear the game on WISR.
The Mars girls upset Shaler 44-23 in the Class 5A First Round Friday night. They will meet Bethel Park in the quarterfinals Wednesday.
