A Butler County attorney is leading a lawsuit against the recent statewide mask mandate in schools.
Tom King of the law firm Dillon McCandless King Coulter and Graham filed the suit in the state’s Commonwealth Court challenging legality of the order issued Acting Secretary of Health Alison Beam.
King was joined by eight parents of school children in the county, along with two private academic institutions and some Republican state lawmakers.
King said in a statement that these orders are “harming children across Pennsylvania.”
King has also served as the lead attorney in two other suits against Wolf and his administration.
