Those with an interest in the future of the Butler Area School District are invited to a meeting tonight (TUESDAY).
The forum is called ‘Investing So Schools Work’ and will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Butler Intermediate High School Library. The community is welcome and encouraged to attend.
The district says it wants to shift their focus to what students need to do to thrive, opposed to ‘getting by.’ And officials are interested in hearing from the public on what it would take to get there.
Following the first meeting, a second forum will begin at 6 p.m. focusing on the district’s facilities.
If you have thoughts about the way the district is currently organized, your thoughts and ideas are needed.
That meeting will also be held at the Butler Intermediate High School.
