Anyone interested in enjoying more about local nature is invited out to McConnells Mill later this week for a two-mile hike.
On Thursday (September 2nd), the Park Naturalist will lead attendees on a morning hike on the new trail to Breakneck Falls. During the session, participants will learn about local geology and waterfall safety.
Attendees are asked to wear sturdy hiking books and to dress for the weather. Participants will also be asked to bring their own water and a snack.
Thursday’s event is expected to run from 9am until 10am. All current health guidelines will be followed.
