The public is invited to attend an upcoming evening of German food, music, and brews to benefit a local library.
The South Butler Library is holding their third annual Booktoberfest fundraiser Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Saxonburg Firehall.
The evening will include local brewed beers, German dinner, brats and kraut, and live German music. 31 raffle baskets are on display at the library for those who cannot attend but would still like to try to win.
Tickets are $40 per person or $75 for a couple and can be purchased online or at the library. Proceeds from this fundraiser support free programs for children and adults at the South Butler Library.
