The Butler BlueSox defeated the Chillicothe Paints 3-2 last night in Prospect League play. BlueSox starter Tyler Slepski held the Paints hitless until the 6th inning. He finished after 6 2/3rd innings, walking just one, allowing two hits, and striking out a pair. Neither of the two runs he allowed were earned. The Sox turned a triple play in the sixth inning, the first in team history.
The Sox are off today and begin four-game homestand Tuesday.
