The Butler BlueSox beat the visiting Springfield Sliders in walk-off fashion on Saturday night, winning by a final of 5-4.
Butler entered the bottom of the ninth trailing by a score of 4-3 before tying the game at 4 after a sacrifice fly by Knoch graduate Dominick Bucko. Andrew Chuba later scored the winning run for the Sox after an error by the Springfield shortstop.
The Sox and Sliders will meet again Sunday afternoon in Butler. First pitch is scheduled for 4:05pm.
