A fundraiser to benefit a young woman in need of a kidney transplant will be held this weekend in Herman.
A Blood Plasma Drive will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Herman Firehall.
A To Go Spaghetti Dinner is planned from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday also at the Herman Firehall. This event will include multiple basket raffles as well as a 50/50.
These fundraisers will benefit 13-year-old Cheyenne Widenhofer who was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder that destroyed both her kidneys and part of her lung. She receives kidney dialysis and plasma three times every week.
