Legislation to criminalize the use of artificial intelligence to create child abuse material or nonconsenting pornography passed through the state legislator swiftly and has now become state law.
With the fast-moving development of artificial intelligence legislators across the country are working quickly to create laws that penalize those that use it to create nonconsenting pornography.
In Pennsylvania a proposed bill was introduced in late May and now will become official law after passing through both the house and senate without a single no vote.
The law will charge misdemeanors to people who create the material and similar child sex abuse materials.
Once the Governor official signs the bill it will become state law in 60 days.
