The Department of Labor estimated that Pennsylvania will need to hire 45,000 direct care workers to meet the upcoming needs. In a bipartisan effort to help meet that need, the bill removes the requirement of face to face interviews be conducted.
These interviews will now be allowed to be done virtually through remote technology to help increase the amount of interested applicants.
