Hundreds of bikers will take to Butler County streets on Saturday for the 8th annual ‘Riding for the Cure’ Cancer Awareness Ride.
Registration will get underway at 9 a.m. at The 11th Frame. Bikers will pull out at 11 a.m. and travel through several stops before finishing with a pig roast party at 5 p.m. at the Longhorn Corral. The day will also include prizes, auctions, raffles and DJ Karaoke.
The cost to participate is $20 for riders and $10 for passengers. Money raised as part of this event will go to local organizations that will use it to help local cancer patients pay for screenings, education, treatment, medicine, transportation, wigs, cancer care packages and more.
The annual event is always held the last Saturday in July. The public is invited to attend the pig roast for $10 per person and you do not have to ride a motorcycle to join in this event.
