Restaurants have been hit hard by the coronavirus shutdowns, but one local establishment is stepping up to help others.
Over the past few weeks, the Beacon in Renfrew has been delivering meals to workers on the frontlines for free. They’ve taken lunches and dinners to nursing homes, hospitals, and emergency services.
The Krelow family that owns the Beacon says it’s important to be involved in the community and this is just one way they can give back.
