Butler County Community College is hosting a couple of new classes for adult learners beginning this week.
First, a personal finance class will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. until noon. This course will strengthen math skills, develop tools for debt decision making and management, and certify participants for the Butler Housing S.H.O.P. program.
Then a high school equivalency class is planned for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Main Campus in Butler Township. Participants will gain the skills necessary to pass the GED test.
Both classes are sponsored by the BC3 Adult Literacy Program. Those interested in registering should call 724-287-8711 extension 8350.
