BC3 Hosts OSHA Training Classes

Butler County Community College is hosting Occupational Safety and Health Administration training on their main campus beginning this upcoming week.

As part of an agreement with West Virginia University Safety and Health Extension, two different OSHA Training courses will be offered.

OSHA 510 Construction Standards course is offered September 5^th through 8^th followed by an OSHA Construction Trainer course October 2^nd through 5^th. Both courses are open to the public and cost $750 each. The courses will also be offered at the college’s Linden Pointe campus in Hermitage in October and December.

The goal of the partnership is to increase awareness and knowledge of occupational safety and health hazards as well as reduce injuries, illnesses, and deaths.
