The Butler Area School District is continuing to address problems associated with student transportation.
Superintendent Brian White said it appeared all of the software issues were fixed as of Tuesday night. The Transportation Department and additional staff members were focused yesterday on setting the appropriate bus routes for elementary students and plan to get the secondary routes in place on Wednesday.
White says the district has just started to respond to parent emails and phone calls. They have brought in additional staff members to help.
The software issues first caused the district to be delayed in sending out student transportation cards that detailed bus routes, and then discovered students were being assigned to the wrong routes altogether.
