Now that the sale of Butler Area Sewer Authority assets to Pennsylvania American Water has been finalized, residents will experience a transition of operations.
The drive through window and drop box at the Litman Road facility will remain open until November 8th at which point all payments must be submitted through Valuepay online, placed into the Butler Township Municipal Building dropbox, or mailed to the authority at the address of the Butler Township Municipal Building.
No one will be available to accept cash payments after November 8th so only payments for the exact amount due will be accepted.
Customers with questions about billing are asked to call the regular BASA number (724-282-1978) and leave a message with calls being answered as soon as possible. Anyone with a sewage emergency should contact PA American Water.
