Authorities have announced that they located the body of a boy who went missing from an Armstrong County campsite on Friday.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, a 3-year-old boy went missing from a Bethel Township campsite around 3pm. Officials say that the campsite is located along the Allegheny River, and an extensive search was conducted on Friday and again on Saturday.
Police say that around 2:40pm on Saturday, the boy’s body was recovered from the Allegheny River. His death has been ruled accidental.
