This week kicks off Armstrong’s “Avenge Hunger Month.”
The initiative started four years ago to coincide with National Hunger Action Month. It’s also a part of their Breaking Bread initiative that aims to raise awareness about the need for food in the community.
Over the past three years, Avenge Hunger Month has raised over $43,000 and collected nearly 100,000 pounds of food.
This year donations can be dropped off at the Armstrong office on South Benbrook Road starting tomorrow and continuing through October 3rd.
