A longtime local tradition will continue later this afternoon.
The 138th annual Concordia Lutheran Ministries Summer Festival will take place from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Lund Care Center back yard of the Cabot campus.
The day will include a traditional worship service and an open house of facilities as well as picnic-themed food and musical entertainment from the Pittsburgh Doo Wop Big Band. There will also be activities for kids such as a Fishing Derby as well as crafts and a bounce castle.
This event is open to the public and admission is free.
