When AC/DC booked their European tour, they knew it was going to be big, but didn’t know how big. The band sold 1.5 million tickets in one day.
Booking venues for the tour wasn’t easy to schedule due to Olympic Games in France and the European football championships happening in Germany. And the weather was another factor for the outdoor shows in Italy and Spain, where shows last summer had to be delayed due to extreme temperatures.
The Power Up tour runs May through August.
AC/DC consist of Brian Johnson, Angus and Stevie Young, Matt Laug and newest member Chris Chaney.
