
It’s expected to be another big Thanksgiving travel period according to AAA.
The travel association projects more than 55 million people will make a trip more than 50 miles or more from home this Thanksgiving. That’s up 2.3 percent compared to last year.
In the Mid-Atlantic Region, it’s estimated that 6 million people will be traveling by car. Another 650,000 will take to the skies.
The busiest travel period will be next Wednesday in between 2-6 p.m.
