The South Butler Community Library is beginning a major renovation.
Library Director Michelle Lesniak says the focus for this project is the main room.
“It is definitely in need of some updates,” Lesniak said. “The entire front area will be worked on.”
Renovations will include new LED lighting, shelving, carpet and paint. According to Lesniak, it was the front room’s time to be upgraded. In 2012 the children’s room was renovated and in 2013, the teen’s room was done.
The library, located on Main Street in Saxonburg, will remain open throughout the renovation. Work should wrap-up by the end of February.
