The Butler BlueSox defeated the West Virginia Miners 3-2 last night. Butler managed the win despite four hits. The Miners scored just twice despite 13 hits. The BlueSox host West Virginia again tonight at 7:05pm. They are now 20-29 this season.
The Sox are idle Tuesday, then host Lafayette Wednesday for Butler Radio Network night at the ballpark.
The Altoona Curve lost 6-5 in extra innings to Reading Sunday. The second game of the doubleheader was rained out.
