The Butler BlueSox pounded the Champion City Kings 13-7 last night in the Prospect League. The BlueSox had 18 hits in the game. They were led by third baseman Chris Law who went six-for-six, becoming just the fourth player in league history to have a six-hit game. Dom Bucko had three hits and drove in three. The BlueSox visit Chillicothe tonight and Saturday, before returning home to host West Virginia Sunday afternoon.
The Altoona Curve defeated the Reading Fightin’ Phils 8-2 last night in Reading. The Curve pounded 14 hits.
