Nascar driver Kyle Larson showed up at Lernerville Speedway last night and won the annual Don Martin Silver Cup Memorial race. He pocketed $25,000 for his effort. It was just his second time at the local track. Larson drives for Chip Ganassi Racing at the Cup level. The Cup Series drivers will be racing in New Hampshire this weekend. Brad Sweet was the runner-up, followed by six-time Silver Cup winner Donny Schatz. This the World of Outlaws annual “Month of Money”, which concludes at the Knoxville Nationals in August. The Outlaws head to Eastern Pennsylvania and Lincoln Speedway Thursday, then hit Williams Grove Friday and Saturday.
The Camping World Truck Series will race at the legendary Eldora Speedway dirt track tonight. Heat races begin at 7pm. The annual “Dirt Derby” begins at 9:15pm.
