The Butler BlueSox jumped out to 5-0 and 7-1 leads early last night and cruised to a 10-4 victory in Richmond, Indiana. The Sox were led by Matt Hansen who had three hits. Alex Stephens, David Marcus and Chucky Vasquez each had two hits. Starter Josh LaPiana pitched into the sixth inning, allowing one run while striking out six.
The Sox play in Richmond again tonight before returning home to host Chillicothe Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is another fireworks night.
