The Knoch-Donegal PIAA semi-final game is scheduled, again, for this afternoon at Mt. Aloysius College in Cresson. Game time is 4pm. Hear the game at msasports.net beginning at 3:50pm. The Knights (21-2) are the WPIAL Triple-A champions. Donegal (23-5) won District 3. The winner plays Abington Friday in the state championship game being played at Penn State University.
A state softball semi-final game is also being played at Mt. Aloysius today with Hempfield meeting Cumberland Valley at 4:30pm.
In the Double-A Softball semi-final game at Slippery Rock University Tuesday, Deer Lakes defeated Cambridge Springs 4-3 in 8-innings. Deer Lakes moves to 24-1 and increases their win streak to 22 games in a row. The Lancers will play at 10:00 AM Friday at Nittany Lions Softball Park in State College, taking on Holy Redeemer.
In Quad-A baseball Tuesday: North Penn eliminated Shaler 3-1.
