The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 2-0 in a rain-soaked game at PNC Park last night. The game was delayed twice, the first time during the 4th inning for a half hour. Pirate starter A.J. Burnett lost despite allowing just one run over seven innings. He allowed five hits and struck out six. His record fell to 6-2. Neil Walker had three of the Pirates five hits. The Bucs stranded 10 runners in scoring position.
The Pirates host the Brewers again tonight at 7:05pm. Pre-game on WISR 680am is 6:40pm.
