The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Atlanta Braves 3-0 Sunday to take two of three games in the series. The Bucs completed their road trip with a 7-3 record over 10 games. Pirate starter Gerrit Cole won his ninth game of the season, which is tied for the major league lead. Cole also lowered his ERA to 1.72 which is best in the National League. Mark Melancon picked up his major league-leading 18th save of the season.
The Bucs will host Milwaukee beginning tonight at PNC Park. First pitch is 7:05pm. Pre-game on WISR 680am is 6:40pm.
