A Boyers woman was flown to the hospital Tuesday following a violent crash in Mercer County.
According to State Police, 61-year-old Roxanne Dobson was traveling northbound on Route 58 around 2:30 p.m. when, for some unknown reason, drifted over the center line into oncoming traffic.
Dobson’s SUV crashed into a truck driven by 54-year-old Barbara Kish of Mercer.
Police say the impact caused both drivers’ legs to be pinned in their vehicles. Firefighters had to mechanically extricate both women.
Both were flown to area hospitals. Their conditions are not known.
