The cost to drive on the Pennsylvania Turnpike will continue to rise.
The PA Turnpike Commission voted to increase tolls by another six percent in January of 2019.
Some officials blame the rising expenses on the $450 million annual payment that the Turnpike must make to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) by law.
This marks the eleventh consecutive year in which turnpike rolls have increased.
