The Knoch baseball team defeated Punxsutawney 1-0 in the PIAA Triple-A baseball first round Monday at North Allegheny high school. Junior pitcher Alex Stobert allowed four hits for the win, as Knoch improved to 20-2 overall this season. Dom Bucko drove in the only run of the game.
The Knights will await today’s winner between Erie Cathedral Prep and Montour for a quarterfinal round game Thursday.
