Light snow is continuing to fall throughout Butler County on Tuesday morning and it’s causing some problems on the roads.
A portion of Whitestown Road in Butler Township was closed (between Acre Avenue and Fairground Hill Road) around 9 a.m. due to reports of a vehicle stuck on Villa Drive. Roads in the area were slick and salt trucks were out. There was at least one disabled vehicle that slid off a road in the Highfield section of Butler Township.
There were accidents earlier this morning on Dick Road in Franklin Township; Glen Eden Road in Cranberry and on West Eldorado Road (off Rt. 38) in Parker Township.
Forecasters say this morning’s snow is the result of the first of three potential clipper lows to impact our area through Friday.
