The Butler BlueSox fell to the visiting Champion City Kings in a high scoring affair on Saturday night, losing by a final of 15-12.
Early in Saturday’s contest, Champion City jumped out to a 13-2 lead, but the Sox battled back by scoring a combined nine runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Knoch graduates Chris Law and Dominick Bucko helped the Sox offensively. Law homered in Saturday’s contest, and Bucko collected a triple.
The Sox and Kings will play again Sunday afternoon in Butler. First pitch is scheduled for 4:05pm.
