Crews battled a fire at a home in Cranberry Township over the weekend.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just after 4 a.m. for a roof on fire at a home at the intersection of Ridgemont Drive and Wildwing Drive.
According to Adams Township fire officials, the house was struck by lightning which led to a fire in the attic.
Firefighters battled the blaze by accessing the roof of the home.
Crews were able to knock down the flames quickly and limit damage.
They cleared the scene in about an hour.
