A local library is holding a book sale tomorrow as part of an event this weekend.
The Spring Market and Book Sale is a partnership between the South Butler Community Library and Saxonburg area businesses with the semi-annual Clearance Book Sale beginning Friday at 10 a.m. and continuing through Sunday at 3 p.m. Thousands of books, DVDs, CDs, and puzzles will be available to fill a grocery bag at a cost of just $5.
Then Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. vendors at the 3rd annual ethnic food festival will be selling wood crafts, wreaths, fresh cut flowers, and potted plants while the Friends of the Saxonburg Museum will have homemade pierogies and Halushki available. Kids will be able to participate in springtime outdoor activities like a scavenger hunt.
Finally, on Sunday, South Butler Library will receive a special visit from the Easter Bunny from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. No registration is required for any of these activities and proceeds will benefit the community Christmas Tree and Friends of the South Butler Library.
