A Moniteau School District facility had to be put into lockdown following an incident on Friday afternoon.
According to an email from administrators, Dassa McKinney Elementary School was put on lockdown shortly before 1 p.m. for an unspecified situation outside of the building.
A school employee informed our newsroom around 2 p.m. that the building is safe and everyone is well. Parent pick-up is still taking place as usual.
We will update this story with additional information once it is released.
